Russian Propraganda

Introduction : Russian Propaganda was a way to use the Russian people to have a motivation in working. These propagandas are mostly exaggerated truths or just plain lies to make people more motivated or give more hatred against types of enemies to the Russian Government.



1. This Propaganda here explains about the Evils of Capitalism and Private owning, with all the poor people on the bottom trying to support it. It tells the Russian people that Capitalism is bad and this will happen. The fat man on top might represent someone like Jabba the hut from Star Wars (but this poster was made in 1920).

2. It makes people think that this will happen if Russia becomes greedy money makers instead of fair and honest socialists.

3. It conveys the message by just telling how unhappy were the proletriat in capitalist countries. The ironic part is that most of them were clothed better than in Russia's communism.

4. The effective part is in irony because of them actually thinking that communism is good, when it actually doesn't improve their lives much.






1. This propaganda explains about Leon Trotsky, who is the red army and that he has kept them united. The other small people are the white army, who are only working together to stop communism.

2. It makes the people of Russia showing that they can win this civil war, which improved the morale and support to the soldiers.

3. It conveys it's message by showing how strong Red army really is and how Split the White Army is.

4. The main message in this poster is the toughness of the Red Army.







1. This poster is a white army poster about Trotsky at that time would most likely be Lenin's Successor. He is like a gang leader and this poster shows of life if the Red Army wins.

2. This tells some of the people that Trotsky's leadership isn't good and they should side with the white army.

3. It conveys it's message by the size of Trotsky, which means he is big and powerful. There are skulls everywhere, because of Trotsky's harshness.

4. The effective part is that it made people believe that more death will occur if Trotsky becomes a leader of Russia or the Red Army win.

4. The effective part of this poster is a bit like "if you have nothing good to say about the Russian Government, then don't say anything".

1. In this poster, it is showing that Russia will not accept goods outside their country, and they will try to be a self sufficient country.

2. The people believe in this spirit that Russia does not need to depend on anyone because they can do it themselves.

3. People will be proud that Russia is self sufficient and that they will grow stronger.

4. The effective part of this poster is that denying the goods will lead to make Russia a less Dependant country.
